A delicate organic premium extra virgin olive oil, perfect for fish and salads.
The Arbequina is the second extra virgin olive oil produced by Finca La Torre, besides the Hojiblanca. Both organic and biodynamic (Demeter certified), it is a mild premium extra virgin olive of the highest quality. It is harvested early in the season and extracted at low temperatures within a few hours, using the most modern technology.
It is ideal for dressing salads or finishing delicate dishes such as fish, vegetable or chicken. It can also be used instead of butter given its mild profile.
Finca la Torre is located between two national parks, the Fuente de Piedra and the Natural Park of El Torcal de Antequera on the site of an ancient roman oil mill 2000 years old in Andalusia. The olive estate is completely surrounded by fields, pine forests and flanked by two large hills. With almost 380 hectares, it includes around 33,000 trees, from four varieties, Hojiblanca, Arbequina, Cornicabra and Picudo.
The organic and biodynamic farm has been fully modernized in 1998 and again in 2014 in order to achieve quality excellence. The mill being located within the estate allows to mill the oil to be extracted within two hours of harvesting, preserving maximum freshness. It is regarded as one of the most advanced quality promoters in the Spanish olive oil sector.
